Layaway
Just in time for the holiday shopping season, we are introducing a layaway program. We also know that getting started in cloth diapering can be expensive at the start (though over time, it will save you money!), so we wanted a way to help you out if start up costs are prohibiting you from trying cloth. How this works--please make sure you read all points carefully!:
- Layaway is available for orders containing at least $75 worth of product.
- You will pay 30% down as your initial payment, plus any applicable taxes and shipping charges.
- From the date of your initial payment, you will have up to 2 months to complete your remaining balance.
- We will send you an invoice 30 days after your initial payment for half of the remaining balance, and again 30 days later for the final balance. You may choose to pay off the balance faster, if you'd like. Just let us know and we will adjust the invoice.
- You may choose to cancel the layaway at anytime, but be aware that you will be issued a refund in the form of store credit only. Because we pull the merchandise from inventory at the time of your initial payment, the merchandise is not available for other customers to view or purchase. If you cancel, we will need to add the merchandise back to the shopping cart and re-list the items, thus we will also enforce a 20% restocking fee. Shipping charges, however, will be refunded in full.
- A valid e-mail address is required for all layaway plans. We need to be able to reach you so that invoices can be sent in a timely manner.
- If you miss a payment by a period greater than 3 days from the date on the invoice, the layaway plan will be cancelled according to the terms listed above.
- As soon as the balance is paid in full, the order will be shipped.
How to make your initial purchase:
- Place all items you want included in your layaway order in the shopping cart. Your order must include at least $75 worth of product.
- At checkout, use the code LAYAWAY in the voucher field, then hit "recalculate." 70% will be deducted from your total. You will pay the remaining 30%, plus any applicable taxes and shipping charges as your down payment.
- I will pull your order from the inventory and send you a bill in 30 days for half of your remaining balance. You have 3 days from the date of that invoice to pay, or the order will be cancelled according to the terms above.
- 30 days after your second bill, your third and final invoice will be sent. Again, you have 3 days from the date on the invoice to pay the bill. If you do not, the order will be cancelled according to the terms above. Once the order is paid in full, it will be shipped.
- If you wish to pay your balance off sooner, you may request to do so at any time by simply contacting us via our contact form.
