One dozen Indian cotton prefolds.

These prefolds are 100% cotton twill weave, unbleached diapers that are soft, durable and highly absorbent. These are made in Pakistan with luxurious Indian cotton. Because they are unbleached they have a natural ivory cotton color to them. When you receive your diapers, you will notice they appear bigger, flatter, and do not quite look like the diapers pictured above. Once you fully prep your new prefolds, however, you will notice that they quilt up just like those in the picture, and will also shrink 5-10% (as with all prefolds). Because these are unbleached cotton, there will still be a film of natural cotton oil on the diapers. It is recommended that you prep these separate from any other diapers you may be washing to prevent the oil from transferring. Once they are fully prepped, the oil will be gone and you can wash them in with the rest of your stash at will! To fully prep your unbleached prefolds, it is recommended to wash them in hot water with detergent and dry on high at least 6 times through. You can test the absorbency at this point by pouring a small amount of water onto a dry prefold and noting if the liquid is absorbed, or if it beads on the surface and runs off. If it is absorbed, you are good to go! If not, try running it through a few more cycles and test again.

We find that most people are able to get by with 2 sizes of prefolds over the course of their baby's time in diapers. We carry the 2 most common sizes (Infant and Premium), but if you require an in-between size, please let us know. If there is enough demand, we will look into stocking the in-between sizes. Below is the size chart for our unbleached Indian prefolds. We carry the 2 sizes in bold lettering only at the present time.
